Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and New Venture Creation

Image: Sujith Nair

Research group The research group focuses on organizing to facilitate New Venture Creation.

The group's research highlights behaviors, actions, and interactions of entrepreneurs and those who support them. These interactions happen within an entrepreneurial ecosystem, constituting startups, corporates, business incubators, accelerators, and other interactive spaces that promote entrepreneurial activity. An ongoing research project funded by the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ) focuses on organizing interactive spaces whereby we aim to understand, explain, and influence effective support systems for new venture creation. The research group has published in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Research Policy, Organization Studies, Harvard Business Review, Technology Analysis and Strategic Management, Management Decision, and Business Horizons.
