My research interests are population dynamics at national and regional level, focusing on migration, population ageing and geography of the family. I am PI for three research projects: 

- Nearness of family - geographic proximity and care of older people in Sweden and Europe

- Survey of Health Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE-Sweden)

- SHARE-COVID-19 – daily activities among older people during the Covid-19 pandemic in Europe
