Alumni chapters globally
As well as our students come from all around the world, Umeå University alumni are also spread globally, working with very different exciting tasks.
As our Alumni Community keeps growing, we encourage alumni to get together and form Alumni chapters.
Right now we have two alumni chapters in China, one in Beijing and one in Shanghai, but we are looking for more alumni around the world to join together in Alumni chapters. Please don't hesitate to contact the Alumni Coordinator if you are interested in getting together with alumni from Umeå University in your region!
What do Alumni chapters do?
Umeå University Alumni Network Chapters can for example help to provide an up-to-date information and effective communication platform to all Umeå University Alumni network members within a certain region or country, who seek to bond together socially and professionally.
A chapter can for example organize reunions/gatherings to bond Umeå University graduates together socially and professionally, help with student recruitment or be to offer practical assistance to visiting scholars and exchange students. What the chapter aims to is for the members to decide.
