How can Science Shops contribute to solving community challenges?
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: Kulturhuset Klossen
The event is for: anyone
How can we increase collaboration between universities and civil society for the sake of democratic and sustainable communities? You are welcome to this informative evening where guests from Aalborg University in Denmark share their experiences of studying, working with and setting up science shops in Europe.
Science shops are meant to solve problems and support community-based projects. They are entities that provide independent, participatory research support in response to concerns experienced by civil society.
This is an open event directed to civil society organisations, students and wider public. Fika provided.
The event is organized by Umeå University in collaboration with Studiefrämjandet.
