Vinnova recently opened a call for proposals for eight new competence centres in which university, industry and the public sector jointly develop new knowledge. This knowledge shall be applicable in industry or society to develop new products, processes or models. The main applicant of a proposal must be academic.

Vinnova will not use the two-step application procedure used in earlier competence centre calls, but instead requires a full proposal, to be submitted before January 8th 2019 at 14:00.

More information about the call ('Kompetenscentrum 2020')

Because of this important call, Vinnova will visit Umeå to inform about the call and to have a dialogue with potential applicants.
