The number of people in old age is growing fast and the amount is expected to rise dramatically in the future. The workshop discusses on older people as active citizens with a focus on capacity building. The presentations highlight how the ageing population living in the Arctic region can be provided improved living conditions, and how traditional knowledge can be best utilized.
