Merging Art, Activism and Everyday Life

Seminar Umeå School of Architecture is having a seminar with two lectures. John Jordan and Isa Fremeaux who lives and work on The Zad, a liberated zone in France will hold the first lecture and Leo Martin who will share research about the complex psychotechnical system that controls mobility all around the world will hold the second.

Gaussian methods

Workshop This two-day workshop will cover many of the methods available in the Gaussian 16 package which has support for GPUs. There will also be a short introduction to the subject of electronic structure theory and a hands-on where the participants gets to try out Gaussian 16 themselves.

Exhibition On Thursday May 31st at 18:00 Umeå School of Architecture will open its doors for the official public inauguration of the 2018 UMA Summer Show. The exhibition will show the student’s work of the Academic year 2017/2018 and will take over the entire Architecture school, from the studio spaces to the river front.
