Nobel Prize winner visited Umeå last year
[2012-10-12] Nobel Laureate Brian K. Kobilka held a lecture at Umeå Plant Science Centre in 2011.
One of this year's Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry is the American professor Brian K. Kobilka, who was honoured together with Robert Lefkowitz for their ground-breaking work on G protein-coupled receptors. In June 2011, he visited Umeå University and held a lecture at Umeå Plant Science Centre, following an invitation from his friend Professor Petter Gustafsson.
