Reuters: Mercury, oils from fish at odds in heart health
[2012-08-31] Researchers have found that mercury and omega-3 fatty acids - both found in fish - appear to have opposite links to heart health. The study, which included more than 1,600 men from Sweden and Finland, was recently published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. It included scientists from the departments of Public Health and Clinical Medicine, Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and Epidemiology and Global Health at Umeå University.
