Housing for International Students
Umeå University can assist tuition-paying students and exchange students from partner universities with accommodation through the International Housing Office.
We can offer single-occupancy student room accommodation in student corridors. Our accommodation is off-campus, but within walking distance of the campus. We are proud that we are perhaps Sweden's only University that offers not only a housing guarantee (if you meet our requirements), but also the possibility to choose your own accommodation from our housing stock. Our housing stock consists of some 400 student rooms that are located in four different student housing areas.
