About the course
The focus of this course is life, institutions and cultures in English-speaking countries, in particular Great Britain and the USA. In addition to providing a grounding in these areas, the course aims to develop the students oral proficiency and their ability to understand and describe cultural values and attitudes. The teaching consists of a twice-weekly two-hour lesson throughout most of the term.
