About the course
The course relates to behavioral science from a broad perspective with focus on different approaches and applications within research design and communication. It includes history of science, theory of science, research design and methods, and research ethics. Scientific communication is practiced by means of oral and poster presentations.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the students are expected to have
- a deeper understanding of the historical and conceptual basis of behavioral sciences,
- increased knowledge about basic scientific concepts, including causality, validity and reliability, experimental and correlational research,
- practical experience of scientific communication
