Environmental Governance, 7.5 Credits
About the course
Environmental challenges need to be dealt with at all administrative levels. They need an integrated approach across policy areas since they are distinctly multi-sector and multi-level. We will use multi-level governance theories to understand what this implies in practice. The issue of biodiversity conservation will be an example throughout the course. It will illustrate how policy-making and implementation take place at different levels in both a developing and an industrialized country.
