Functional Genomics N, 15.0 Credits
About the course
The course provides a theoretical underpinning of techniques used in functional genomics, i.e. a large-scale analysis of the function of different gene products within an organism. Insights will be given into the new information that will be generated from whole genome analysis. The course covers genomics, proteomics and metabolomics, but also robotization, miniaturization and high-throughput-screening. Finally, the students will make a project applying the genomics techniques.
