About the course
The course gives an introduction to computational approaches commonly used in life sciences. Topics covered are a) classical bioinformatics b) probability distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, c) chemometrics, experimental planning, model evaluation, d) dimensionality reduction, projection and classification and e) algorithm design, time/space complexity analysis.
