Design and Analysis of Parallel Algorithms, 7.5 Credits
About the course
The focus of the course includes the acquisition of: increased knowledge of design, analysis, implementation, and evaluation of algorithms for scalable computer architectures. This includes knowledge about basic communication operations, general methods for data partitioning (e.g. blocking of 2D Data Structures), performance metrics for analysis of cost and scalability, and fundamental algorithms for numerical and non-numerical problems.
Level of Education: Advanced
Notes: The course can be included in the Master's Program in Computational Science and Engineering.Course Menu
