Distributed Systems, 7.5 Credits
About the course
The goal of the course is to provide foundational knowledge that will help in understanding how modern large scale distributed systems operate. Topics include theoretical models of distributed systems, problems encountered when building distributed systems, as well as algorithms and mechanisms to address those problems. In addition the course will explore recent trends and topics in how highly available and reliable distributed systems are designed and implemented.
