Computer Simulation Techniques, 7.5 Credits
About the course
The course illustrates computer simulations of dynamical systems. Examples from the industry are given, but the main focus of the course lies on many-body systems. We cover chaotic systems, systems with short-ranged forces, molecular dynamics in three dimensions, systems with long-ranged forces, plasma simulations, the Vlasov model, methods for classical fluids and hybrid methods.
Level of Education: Advanced
Notes: The course can also be included in the subject area of computational science & engineering.Course Menu
