Democracy, human rights and gender: global perspectives in education, 7.5 Credits
About the course
Foundational issues for democracy are enlightened and problematized. Human rights are studied historically, politically and from the point of view of law; including as well international as national perspectives. Contemporary theoretical issues within the field of gender and citizenship are studied. For these three main areas the study is guided by educational issues and global perspectives are applied.
