No written information will be sent out by surface mail so you will find all necessary information below. In Sweden written information is extremely important. You are expected to have read everything on these webpages including the Survival Guide before you arrive.

International orientation week for international students at Umeå University

You are welcome and strongly encouraged to join a special international Orientation Week arranged by the university and starting already the 27th of August. Read more about that here:

Registration for all international students at USBE

Will be confirmed. (It is around the start of the International Orientation Week). Autumn semester starts 2nd of September.

Campus map

To the registration you need to bring: a photograph of yourself (passport size), and some cash money, transcript + diploma (only if you are conditionally admitted), an admission letter (printed from your personal page in www.universityadmissions.se after August 8th) and a printed course syllabus and schedule for your first course. Syllabus and schedule can be found here:

If you are not able to attend the registration then it is very important that you notify me beforehand: rickard.lindberg@usbe.umu.se If you do not notify me in advance then you will risk loosing your seat to the program.
