Online Courses at Umeå University – Autumn 2009 Term

Choose from our internet-based courses - taught completely online - and obtain a dynamic educational experience that suits your convenience and schedule.

How to Apply:

Applications are submitted online via the national application website studera.nu. A direct link is available on each course page by clickling the "Apply Now" button. Simply click the course title link below for more detailed information.

You will need to create a personal user account at studera.nu  if you have not already done so. A user account functions as a link between your online application and your personal data and qualifications. After creating a user account, simply go to 'Your pages' at studera.nu to check your application status.

Supporting Documentation First Cycle (Basic/Bachelor's)
Supporting Documentation Second Cycle (Advanced/Master's)
Language Requirements (basic proficiency in English)

Application Deadline: 16 April 2009 (12 noon in Sweden) - Late applications are now being accepted. Please note that applications received before the deadline are given first prefefence.
Supporting Documents: Must be received by 18 June 2009

If you only intend to take online courses at Umeå University, a residence permit is not required as all teaching is provided via the internet. Admittance to an online course does not grant you the right to obtain a residence permit to study in Sweden.
