Admission Information
You will receive information by post about whether or not you have been admitted. If you have been admitted, you will also receive further practical information in the form of an Information Package.
Notification of Admission
The Notification of Admission tells you whether or not you have been admitted and to which course /programme you have admission. If you disagree with the admission decision, you can appeal against it. The information regarding how and where to appeal is written on the Notification of Admission.
For Exchange Students who are under formal agreement the admission document is called "Letter of Acceptance"

Information Package
If you are admitted to Umeå University, you should also receive an Information Package shortly after receiving your Notification of Admission (Exchange Students under formal agreement within the EU/EEA area receive their information package with their Letter of Acceptance). If you do not receive your Information Package, please contact the department in which you will study at Umeå University .
