Science without Borders - Applied Mathematics

Smartphones, digital cameras, advanced statistics, computer simulations. Math is an essential part of modern society. Our course package gives you theoretical knowledge of mathematics together with practical skills to apply them.

The purpose of this course package is to give an advanced theoretical knowledge of mathematics together with practical skills to apply this knowledge both to mathematical problems and in applications of mathematics.

The course package consists of a broad range of courses in mathematics, both applied and theoretical.

The selection of courses reflects the research conducted at the department and the respective courses are taught by active researchers.
The courses may lead to an advanced industrial position or serve as a platform for continued graduate studies.
