Science without Borders - Mathematical Statistics

Probability theory, multivariate data analysis, numerical methods. The course package in Mathematical Statistics prepares you for an advanced position as a statistician or future PhD studies.

The purpose of this course package is to give an advanced theoretical knowledge of mathematical statistics together with practical skills to apply this knowledge both to theoretical and applied problems.

The course package consists of a broad range of courses in mathematical statistics, both applied and theoretical.
The selection of courses reflects the research conducted at the department and the respective courses are taught by active researchers.
The programme may lead to an advanced position as a statistician or serve as a platform for continued graduate studies.

• 60 ECTS in Mathematics including courses in Multivariable calculus, Linear algebra and Mathematical statistics (minimum 15 ECTS).
• Basic knowledge in Computer programming.
