Welcome Fair for Students
On Thursday 13 September at 10 am to 3 pm, you are warmly invited to attend Umeå University's Welcome Fair at the Universum building complex in the heart of Campus Umeå. New students are especially welcome to come!
The Welcome Fair is an ideal opportunity for you to get to know the city of Umeå and the University a little better. The fair will feature a great number of exhibitors - closely connected with student social life - from the University, municipality, organisations, clubs, and associations.
There will also be a chance to win fun contest prizes, see various live performances, purchase a used bicycle at a low price, receive great offers and discounts from Umeå's restaurants and nightclubs, etc.
A Culture on Campus concert will be held during lunchtime in Universum.

During the evening, the welcoming will progress toward the next exciting phase called "You´re in for a surprise". All new students attending the Welcome Fair will have the opportunity to take part in this surprise event, and they will be given a coloured bracelet to be worn on the wrist. Everyone with a bracelet will receive further information about the evening's surprise. We can promise that it will be a fun night.
