Jubileumssymposium 2015
– Excellence by Choice

Fredag 16 oktober bjuder Umeå universitet in till Jubileumssymposiet Excellence by Choice.

“What enables groundbreaking research? What might attract the next generation of researchers? These questions are of fundamental importance to research and will be highlighted and discussed at the symposium Excellence by Choice.

Invited speakers include internationally leading scientists and research directors involved in recruitment and scientific policy guiding. Young group leader colleagues share their experience together with the successful MIMS group leader and role model Emmanuelle Charpentier, now known worldwide for her research on CRISPR-Cas9, a groundbreaking genome editing tool.

The symposium is organised by Umeå University and its Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden – MIMS – the Swedish node in The Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine.

The symposium will be held in English.

Programme – 13:30–16:30 in Aula Nordica

Moderator: Anna Nilsson Vindefjärd, PhD MBA, Secretary General, Research!Sweden.

Umeå universitets
EC Jubileumspris 2015
