What are we really looking for when we require students to express ideas in their own words in an assignment, or to demonstrate independence in a degree project? And how can we design assessments that genuinely evaluate what we intend to assess?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This workshop is a workshop in the truest sense of the word: we experience, reflect, and try again.
