It is possible to request samples and data from so-called deposit boxes, which are often a series of samples from individuals who are already sick and which were collected under the terms for the previous "Medical Biobank". The persons responsible for the sample collections in the deposit box have priority in terms of access and also determines whether other interested parties will receive access.
Since the Biobank Research Unit handles data management for several of the older deposit boxes, we can be contacted for access to samples and/or data.
If someone other than the person in charge of the sample collection would like access to samples from the deposit box, we can act as an intermediary for the contact if needed.
