About the Department of Medical and Translational Biology

The main research areas within the department are Neurobiology, Myology and Diabetes as well as Endocytosis and Exocytosis.

We offer basic education in Anatomy, Cell Biology, Physiology , Pharmacology and Histology mainly to medical-, dental-, biomedical-, nursing-, logopedics- and cognitive science students.

Doctoral education in Medical Science with an orientation towards; Anatomy, Cell Biology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Physiology, Pharmacology and Histology & Cell Biology.

The department is located in the Biology Building (House H), the oldest building on Campus.
