The course aims to extend the basic orientation in the subject of architecture by examining the concepts of scale, structure and texture in relation to the concepts of space, object, and body. Through experimentation, project-based teaching and theoretical reflection, methods are developed to synthesize practical and theoretical knowledge, and to explore space and structure by processes of sketching. Furthermore, the course brings together construction and materials with space and concepts. The course develops skills and tools such as digital and analog sketching, drawing and modelling as well as methods to digitally document and compile the student's own work.
