Type of studies
To be admitted you must hold a Bachelor's Degree and have finished courses at the advanced level corresponding to 60 ECTS-credits. These 60 ECTS-credits on advanced level should be with in the field of Robotics and Control or equivalent. This implies that the following courses must be finished: Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (5DV121), Artificial Intelligence - methods and applications(5DV122), Student Conference in Computing Science (5DV144), Project course in Machine Vision (5DV115), Linear Control Systems (5EL217), Modeling in Robotics (5EL218) och Mechatronics (5EL227).
Depending on the direction of the Degree Project some extra prerequisites might be needed.
Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper Secondary course English A. Where the language of instruction is Swedish, applicants must prove proficiency in Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies.
Applicants in some programs at Umeå University have guaranteed admission to this course. The number of places for a single course may therefore be limited.
