About the course

The cultural studies-section of this course focuses on life and cultures in English-speaking countries, in particular Great Britain and the USA. In addition to providing a grounding in these areas, the course aims to develop the students' oral proficiency and their ability to understand and describe cultural values and attitudes. The academic writing-section aims to develop the students' awareness of the function of texts in various contexts through process writing, as well as improve their writing proficiency.
