The course aims to provide knowledge of evidence-based working methods in the rehabilitation area. Different methods for searching for literature, reviewing and evaluating evidence will be the focus of the course. The course also includes evaluating evidence within the chosen work area. The course can be included in a master's degree in Occupational Therapy, but can be read as an independent course, subject to availability. Teaching takes place in English if international students participate in the course.
The course is web-based with a two-day distance meeting at the beginning of the course and a one-day distance examination at the end of the course.
Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy degree of at least 180 higher education credits or an equivalent foreign degree. English and Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies.
Applicants in some programs at Umeå University have guaranteed admission to this course. The number of places for a single course may therefore be limited.
