About the course

The aim of the course is to provide a theoretical underpinning of the techniques used in functional genomics, i.e. a large-scale analysis of the function of different gene products within an organism. Insights will be given into the new information that will be generated from whole genome analysis. The course will cover the following concepts: genomics, proteomics and metabolomics.
