The course then focuses on liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry and how this method is used in various applications such as process control, analysis of patient samples and in the development of new drugs. It also includes methods development, quality assurance and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice). In the practical part, which corresponds to 2.5 credits, basic chromatographic exercises is included as well as liquid chromatographic method development for analysis of pharmaceuticals, sample preparation, the study of metabolites, etc.
