This course provides basic knowledge of positive psychology. Positive psychology focuses on the individual's emotional and cognitive strengths and competencies. The course offers a deepening of the central concepts and theories used in the positive psychology, but also adds weight to the criticism of the field. To understand this criticism, methods and metrics within the positive psychology are discussed and a scientific literature review is done, with emphasis on theory and method. The course content is problematised from a diversity perspective.
