About the course

The aim of the course is for the students to attain basic knowledge of the EU legal system. The course begins with a presentation of the historical background of the EU and its institutional structure. The character of sources of Union law, the legislative process and the relationship between the legal system of the EU and those of the Member States are thereafter studied. Completing the course gives access to the advance level courses Kommersiell EU-rätt and Konstitutionell EU-rätt.

Students applying for courses within a double degree exchange agreement, within the departments own agreements will be given first priority. Then will - in turn - candidates within the departments own agreements, faculty agreements, central exchange agreements and other departmental agreements be selected.
