About the programme

New at Umeå University

  • Information due to COVID-19

We are delighted that you have chosen to apply to Umeå University, and look forward to seeing you this autumn! It has been an unusual spring, and although much is starting to return back to normal, not everything will be like it used to be this autumn. It is still just as important that we keep distance from each other, and moreover, education that is held on campus can be affected in different ways. For example, some parts of the teaching can take place online so that we do not all gather on campus at the same time.

The best way to stay updated on what is going on and how your studies may be affected is on the Student web. You will also find advice, tips and tools for studying and collaborating remotely. The pages are constantly updated as soon as new rules or recommendations are added.

Don't forget - Umeå has cold winters, so pack accordingly with a warm jacket, warm shoes, gloves and hat.
