You have been admitted. If you want to keep your place (seat), you do not have to reply to your offer.
If you do not want to keep your place you should decline your offer by logging in to 'My pages' on universityadmissions.se, and follow the instructions. You should click "I wish to decline this offer" next to the course or programme you want to decline.
If you see "Reserve" next to your course or programme in the Notification of selection results, this means that you've been placed on a waiting list for that course/programme.

The schedule for the first module in the programme will be published at least a month before the course starts at the website mentioned above.
There will be a special information meeting for all International Students at USBE Tuesday the 27th of August at 2 p.m. in the Humanities Buildning lecture hall G.
The schedule for the Orientation Course for international students (starting 28th of August) will be found here.
The Business Student section of The Student Union, HHUS, will arrange an welcome and teambuildning activity for all newly admitted students at both undergraduate and master programs starting the 28th of August. For further information see their webbpage HHUS
The semester with lectures start the 2nd of September.
You will be allowed to arrive one week late (although it is not recommended).
If you arrive at the Business School before 4.30 p.m. Monday the 9th of September you will still have a seat at the program. If you arrive later you will no longer have a seat at the program and will have to return home as your residence permit will be revoked. No late arrival is permitted.

During the first semester of the programme you will study a 30 credit course called "Consumer Behavior, Market Analysis and Strategic Decision Making D".
The course syllabus with the expected learning outcomes and literature list is one and the same for the whole course (= the 1st semester). Your will study the course from the 2nd of September until the 19th of January.

The course "Consumer Behavior, Market Analysis and Strategic Decision Making D D 30 credits" consists of four different modules that you study for five weeks each in sequence.
The first module is called "Marketing Strategy 7,5 credits".
You will find the schedule for the first module in the programme,
"Marketing Strategy", 7,5 credits, published at least a month before the start of the course here.
Each module has a separate schedule that will be published one month before the start of the module.
We use an educational plattform for this module called Cambro.
In Cambro you will find all the information you need for this module such as the instructions for assignments, list of module participants and messages from the teacher.
Remember that in order to start the first course and first module of that course you must first be registered. This will be done late August or early September.Close

International students are recommended to arrive at least a few days before the start of the regular term, preferably prior to the Orientation. If you fail to arrive on time, you have to contact the study counselor as soon as possible, but not later than one week ahead of the course start, or you may not be able to register for the programme.
If you will have housing through the International Housing Office you will receive information about your arrival in your offer of housing.

As a new student, you need to activate your user account approximately two weeks prior to the term start in order to, for instance:
If you are a new student, you will automatically receive a user account when you are admitted, but you will need to activate it for it to function properly. You will not be able to activate it until approximately two weeks prior to the term start.

If you are having problems activating your account or logging in, please contact our Servicedesk. You will find answers to common questions, and can submit enquiries.
When you are on Campus Umeå, Umeå Arts Campus or Campus Örnsköldsvik, you will need a UmU card. The card has the following functions:
About one week after you have activated your user account, you will receive an e-mail about how to apply for the UmU card. It will be send to your student e-mail account (firstname.lastname@example.org), so remember to test logging in to confirm that it works.
