The Arctic Meeting for Adaptive Mechanisms in Biological Systems
Join us in Abisko, Sweden, January 19–23, 2026, for a scientific adventure in the heart of the Arctic. This meeting brings together researchers from physics, biology, mathematics, and ecology to explore how living systems adapt to stress, from molecular regulation to ecosystem resilience.
IceLab Lunch Pitches
Interested researchers in Umeå can give an IceLab Lunch Pitch during our 2026 season. Lunch Pitches are a series of short talks and discussion organized by IceLab as a way to bridge gaps between scientific disciplines and encourage new collaborative efforts for the love of launching and landing new ideas.
IceLab Excellence Center Network
Interested researchers from beyond Umeå can apply for research visits in IceLab. We offer an arena for realizing interdisciplinary collaborative projects on modeling adaptive mechanisms in living systems under stress and cover visit costs.
