The open access publishing fee has been pre-paid through an agreement between the library and Emerald. The agreement applies to open access publishing in hybrid and open access journals from Emerald.
Terms and conditions
You must be the corresponding author, i.e. the one handling communication with the publisher and journal.
Your Umeå University affiliation must be stated in the published article.
You must use your university email ending with @umu.se in order to be identified as an Umeå University affiliated author.
The agreement applies to the article type "research articles".
Your article will be published under a CC BY license.
How the publishing process works
Choose “Yes, I want to publish my article as Open Access” in ScholarOne when you submit your manuscript.
Within 30 days of the acceptance email, you will receive a follow-up email with a link to the CC BY license and information regarding the payment of the APC. Complete and sign the document and email it to the Emerald contact.
