Emerald

The open access publishing fee has been pre-paid through an agreement between the library and Emerald. The agreement applies to open access publishing in hybrid and open access journals from Emerald.

Terms and conditions

• You must be the corresponding author, i.e. the one handling communication with the publisher and journal.
• Your Umeå University affiliation must be stated in the published article.
• Use your university e-mail ending with @umu.se. The e-mail domain is often used to recognize your eligibility.
• Your article will be published under a CC BY license unless you request another license.

How the publishing process works

• Choose “Yes, I want to publish my article as Open Access” in ScholarOne when you submit your manuscript.
• Within 30 days of the acceptance email, you will receive a follow up email with a link to the CC BY license and information regarding the payment of the APC. Complete and sign the document and email it to the Emerald contact.
