NEWS The ceremony in Aula Nordica on Saturday, October 17 includes the conferment of honorary doctorates, the installation of new professors, and the presentation of awards for scientific achievement.
This year’s new honorary doctors, professors and award recipients will hold lectures in conjunction with Umeå University’s Annual Celebration.
The Symposium on Friday and 16 of the lectures are given in English.
Umeå School of Business and Economics has one professor who will be installed on Saturday: Marie Wiberg, Department of Statistics. Marie Wiberg will be Professor in Statistics with specialty psychometrics.
Marie Wiberg will hold her lecture on Saturday, October 17, in the Social Science Building, Lecture Hall S205 at 09.30 a.m.
