Assessment of your application

All applications are assessed and prioritised by the research school’s Management Group, which will then decide which applicants are to be admitted. Priority is given to doctoral students who have yet to pass their mid-way review. The Management Group will consider the composition of the group in terms of geographical spread, research specialisation, profession, gender division and previous applications.

Doctoral students who have yet to pass their mid-way review will be admitted first; after that, students who have passed their mid-way review; and, finally, students who are in the process of being admitted to third-cycle studies.
