Reader in Old Testament exegetsis. Post-doc in theology. Studies the development and growth of the Isaianic discourse in the Second Temple period.
I am interesting in the formation and canonization of the biblical books. My doctoral work focused on the 'Book' of Psalms, where I formulated a critique against the prevalent canonical approach and the reading of the 'Book' of Psalms as a 'book'. I revisited the terms 'book' and 'anthology', as well as the Dead Sea psalms scrolls, and used the notion of paratextuality by Gérard Genette to evaluate the specific functions that scholars have argued to be played by certain psalms in the collection. In 2016, the study was awarded with the price from AB CWK Gleerups Fond by Vetenskapssocieteten i Lund, and in 2018, I received the award for deserving academic work by the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities.
I am also Research Fellow at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa, associate professor at Høyskolen for Ledelse og Teologi, Oslo, Norway, and associate professor in biblical studies at Akademy of Leadership and Theology, Sweden.
I am editorial secretary of Svensk Exegetisk Årsbok, and member of The Oxford Psalms Network, Society of Biblical Literature, and Svenska Exegetiska Sällskapet (Swedish Exegetical Society).
