My name is Elisabet Sonntag-Öström and I am a trained physiotherapist. In recent years I have delved into the effects of nature on our well-being and that interest led to a thesis “Forest for Rest. Recovery from exhaustion disorder” which was completed in 2014.
Now I work in an EU project "Nordic Nature Health Hub" as a specialist in the topic “Nature and Health”. My focus is on recording both physiological and mental health effects in nature. These registrations are made in close collaboration with nature and health entrepreneurs and the aim is for the entrepreneurs to benefit from the results in their own business.
