I am an associate professor of sociology (docent) and work as a research coordinator for the Swedish part of the European Social Survey (ESS) and the Survey of Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). My research is mainly about evaluating different ways of measuring subjective well-being and how individual factors and social factors are related to well-being. In addition to subjective well-being, I am also interested in factors such as psychosocial work environment, mental health, social isolation/loneliness, social status and the importance of personality for different outcomes.
