Hazrat Ali is a postdoc researcher. His research interests lie in unsupervised learning, generative models (GANs), applied machine learning, and medical imaging. His research work is on the use of GAN model for disease adaptation in ultrasound images - an AI method to learn the atherosclerosis disease progression. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of Swedish AI Society. 

He is Associate Editor at IEEE Access and serves as reviewer at IEEE, Springer, IET, Elsevier for journals including IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Multimedia Tools and Applications, IET Signal Processing and many other peer-reviewed journals.
