I work most of my time as head of department and am especially responsible for issues related to Economy and Staffing. I also work as a teacher, mostly on courses at the basic level.
I defended my dissertation in the field of artificial intelligence with a focus on applications in medical informatics. During my PhD-studies, my interest in educational research and didactics grew. After my PhD, I have been a program study councelor and were also involved in the development of the Bachelor's program in computer science. I was the program director for that program from the start in 2007. In 2009, I became Director of Studies at the department and in 2016 I became Assitant Head of Department with main focus on undergraduate education. In 2021, I became deputy head with responsibility for Economy and Staffing and my current role started 2022.
I have taught at all levels and in many different types of courses, for example, numerical calculations, logic, programming methodology and master theses. In recent years, most of my teaching has focused on programming methodology, mainly in Python, and also in data structures and algorithms.
