I am a Senior Research Engineer (Förste Forskningsingenjör) at the Department of Computing Science of Umeå University, Sweden. My current research is related to eigenvalue problems, numerical linear algebra, high performance computing and task-based parallelism. My PhD dissertation focused on GPU computation, fast direct linear system solvers and image denoising.
I also work as an Application Expert at High Performance Computing Center North (HPC2N). This means that I provide high-level support for the users of the HPC2N resources. This support includes meetings with research groups, meetings with individual researchers, direct high-level support, training, and outreach. In particular, I provide special expertise in parallel programming, high performance computing, GPU computing (CUDA and OpenCL) and task-based parallelism.
