I am a senior lecturer in mathematical statistics, my main research interests are spatial and spatial-temporal statistics, analysis of spatially dependent function data, and machine learning.
I am an associate professor at the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, Umeå University, Sweden. My main research interests are spatial and spatio-temporal statistics, in particular the theory of point processes and related areas, and applications of spatial and spatio-temporal statistics in environmental sciences, climate prediction and meteorology, epidemiology, criminology, image analysis, forestry, and population growth. Currently, I am working on functionally marked point processes and spatio-temporal birth-death growth processes and their applications in modelling tree growth in space and time under changing climate conditions.
